Did You Know?

Environment Canada has said that Winter 2022 / 2023 is to be a substantial Canadian winter!  Properties by HER would like to  suggest that you:

  • change your furnace filter or have your furnace serviced for ultimate efficiency

  • clear the snow from around your outside air intake pipes regularly

  • connect with your snow removal contractors if you have not done so already

  • purchase de-icing supplies for walkways and driveways

  • if you are one of the many fortunate 'snowbirds', ensure that you have provided all emergency contact information to those managing your home while you are away

  • if travelling this season, ensure you know your Home Owners Insurance Policy and how often your home/property needs to be monitored so that you are in compliance with your policy

Volunteering / Charities

Properties by HER has recently supported seniors at Churchill Place, by Revera Retirement Living  in downtown Oakville, ON.  A complimentary gift wrapping service for all residents was provided by Christina Schaden Herauf.  Not only was it seasonally festive, with warm beverages, freshly baked treats by the Churchill Place staff and holiday music;  it was also a special time for residents to share stories and memories from a time long ago.
